Contemporary wall decor

Plain, printed or patterned, colored wall coverings adapt to a wide variety of interior styles, from contemporary to classic.

Unlike the standard white stretched wall, often used in professional environments where neutrality and sobriety are the order of the day, a stretched wall or ceiling brings character and style to a given space. Depending on the shades and patterns chosen, the visual impact of a customized stretched canvas can be particularly strong. It's an asset worth considering when showcasing a showroom or enhancing products in a boutique.

Acoustic comfort and insulation

In a professional or private space, acoustic and thermal comfort are essential to well-being. Functional and aesthetic at the same time, tinted stretch fabrics meet these requirements.

As well as contributing to the atmosphere of the room, the acoustic wall also fulfils a dual function: soundproofing and thermal insulation. By reducing sound reverberation, it limits nuisances such as heat loss. As a result, the room's overall insulation performance is enhanced.

Types of stretched canvas and their characteristics

The perfect ally for made-to-measure wall decoration, stretched wall canvases come in a wide variety of models.

Textile canvas is relatively thin (between 200 and 300 g/m²). The result is a more natural and universal look.

Custom-printed canvases are the perfect way to create a unique ambience. High-quality, personalized visuals, printed with care, ensure long-lasting colors. Variable grammage is conditioned by the type of support chosen.

Printed and luminous canvases

To maximize the visual impact of printed fabrics, they can be combined with LED backlighting. Thanks to a tailor-made installation that's invisible to the eye, the printed visuals on a colored stretched wall are highlighted, and the options for personalization are even greater. A bright, colorful and original wall ambiance that will make all the difference in spaces dedicated to events or retail!

Colored acoustic fabrics

Sound-absorbing, colored acoustic fabrics are designed for spaces where sound comfort is essential (offices, conference rooms or soundproofed homes). For best performance, they are generally combined with natural or synthetic insulation.

Often weighing between 300 and 400 g/m², these references are available in various colors.

Installation process: how does a project work?

A modern wall color can literally transform a space. Although the installation of a stretched wall is quick and non-invasive, there are a few essential steps to ensure impeccable results.

Quotations and measurements

Every project begins with a personalized consultation. Particularly important, this first step enables you toidentify your needs and requirements, while taking technical constraints into account.

An appointment is made on site to take into account its particularities and carry out precise measurements.

In the third and final stage, a budget estimate is given. This estimate takes into account the fabric chosen, the installation conditions, the colors and finishes selected, as well as the cost of materials and labor.

Preparation and installation

To install a colored stretched wall properly, the wall substrate must first be prepared. In most cases, this simply involves cleaning.

Then the profiles, designed to hold the fabric in place, are fitted and the stretched wall finally installed. Perfect tension ensures a flawless finish. Of course, for a clean finish, touch-ups may be necessary, particularly at the corners.

We answer your questions

What is a color stretch wall?

Color wallcovering is a tinted textile covering. Cold-stretched, it can be used to renovate or elegantly dress a wall without the need for time-consuming and/or costly work.

Printed canvas is a white canvas on which a pattern, image or color is applied by printing. Tinted canvas, on the other hand, is colored in the mass during the manufacturing process, providing a solid, durable and homogeneous hue, without the possibility of printing patterns. While the former is perfect for strong visual atmospheres or graphic messages, the latter is better suited to sober, timeless decors.

The cost of a stretched wall depends on the range chosen, the finish, the surface to be covered and the complexity of the installation.

As a general rule, prices range from €40 to €100/m².

Stretch wall installation can be completed in a single day. However, the job may take longer if the configuration is complex or if customized technical features are required.

A plain stretched wall can be combined with indirect lighting or LED strips. For this, the use of a translucent fabric is recommended. The fabric is then installed, leaving the necessary space to integrate the lighting system.
