What is an acoustic frame?

The Acoustic Frame is an innovative product in our range, combining high-quality aesthetics with the practicality of its acoustic advantage with integrated insulation. 

Our ALYOS fonica frames influence the acoustic behavior of interior spaces in the same way as our acoustic stretched fabrics. The surfaces are varied and can be customized for wall or ceiling installation to prevent sound waves from reverberating too strongly. Our acoustic frames offer a discreet result that's totally in tune with its environment.

The majority of our customers use acoustic frames to reduce the overall noise level in their commercial premises, for example. Operators of premises such as sports halls, seminar rooms, open-plan offices, etc., have noticed that the increased noise level generates additional stress for the various people present in these areas (customers, staff, etc.) and therefore reduces their ability to concentrate. Our ALYOS fonica range helps to alleviate these problems.

For optimum efficiency and results, all you need to do is fit a minimum of 30% of your room's wall and ceiling surfaces with acoustic baffles to achieve satisfactory results.

We regularly work with leading acoustics firms. An acoustic study may be necessary to define the needs of your space; this is often the case for renovation projects in places such as restaurants. ALYOS has developed a high-performance frame solution, with acoustic certificates issued by the CSTB.

What does an acoustic frame consist of?

The system consists of an anodized aluminum frame (customizable), beveled at the corners and connected by connectors; then comes one or more layers of acoustic fleece, followed by the ALYOS acoustic cladding, which clips into the profiles inserted into the grooves of the aluminum profile during assembly. 

The frame is then fixed to the wall or ceiling using the appropriate system.
